This policy explains what Majesty Day Spa collects through this website, why, and what we do with it. It covers this website only — information you give us in the spa, or over the phone, is handled under the same principles but is not described here.

Who we are

What this website collects

Our forms. When you send us a message we receive the name, email address, phone number (if you give one), message and other answers you entered, and whether you ticked the text message box. We use it to answer you and to arrange a treatment if that is what you asked for. We keep it only as long as it is useful for that.

The website chat. If you message us through the chat window, we keep your question, your name, the phone number or email you give, and every message in the conversation, so our team can answer you. While the chat window is open our team can see that you are there, and you can see when your message has been read. A random key stored in your browser lets you return to the same conversation.

Our newsletter. After you send the contact form we ask whether you would like our emails. You can also join on our sign-up page, which asks which treatments interest you and, if you choose to tell us, your birth date so we can send a birthday treat. Only if you say yes, or tick the email box on the sign-up page, do we add your email address to our mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe option in our emails or by emailing us.

Your shopping bag. If you add a product to the bag, that list is stored in your own browser so it survives a refresh. It stays on your device, is never sent to us as you browse, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Ordinary server records. Like most websites, our host records requests made to the server — including IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site working and secure.

Visit statistics. To learn which treatments and pages people are interested in and whether the site loads quickly, the site counts visits with our own statistics tool. It records the pages and sections viewed, how long they were viewed, buttons such as Book or Call being pressed, the type of device and browser, the site that linked you here, your browser's time zone and how fast the page loaded. It does not record your name, what you type, your IP address or your precise location. Your browser keeps a random identifier so a return visit can be told apart from a first one. This information stays on our own systems, is used only by our staff to improve the website, is never sold or shared for advertising, and individual visits are deleted after 13 months.

Advertising and analytics tools

The site loads these tools through Google Tag Manager. They use cookies or similar technology, and the companies that run them receive information about your visit under their own privacy policies.

• Google Analytics. Measures which pages are visited, how people move through the site and which buttons, such as booking buttons, are pressed.
• Google Ads. Tells us whether someone who clicked one of our ads went on to contact or book with us. When you send one of our forms, Google may receive a scrambled (hashed) copy of the email address you entered, so that it can match the inquiry to the ad; we receive only totals.
• Microsoft Clarity. Records how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so we can find parts of the site that confuse people. By default Clarity masks what you type into form fields.
• TikTok Pixel. Measures visits that come from our TikTok ads and may let TikTok show our ads to people who have visited this site.

To limit these, you can block third-party cookies in your browser, adjust your Google ad settings at My Ad Center, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and read Microsoft's and TikTok's privacy policies for their choices.

What this website does not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your name, email address or phone number.
• We do not take card details on this website. Purchases and bookings are completed on Booker.com.
• We do not ask for health information through this website. Anything relevant to your treatment is collected in the spa, in person.

Other services this site relies on

Booker.com. Booking, gift certificates and memberships are handled by Booker. Following one of those links takes you to their platform, where their privacy policy applies and any details you enter are given to them, not to us.

Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, so your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them.

Google reviews. The reviews shown on our home page are the public reviews left on our Google Business Profile, together with the reviewer's public display name and profile photo as Google publishes them. We display them; we do not collect them from you. If you would like a review of yours removed from our website, email us and we will take it down, though you will need to edit or delete it in Google to change it at the source.

Our web host. The site is hosted by Hostinger, who process the server records described above on our behalf.

Form delivery. Messages sent through our forms pass through an automation tool (n8n) that we run to deliver them to our team. It handles them only on our behalf.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your inquiry and your appointments. If you text us first at (754) 223-2669, you agree to receive conversations (external) messages from us in reply. We send occasional offers only if you ticked the text message box on one of our forms; ticking it is never a condition of any purchase. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. The full text message terms are in our Terms & Conditions.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Our texting provider sends messages on our behalf only.

Cookies and similar storage

The advertising and analytics tools described above set their own cookies. The site itself uses your browser's local storage to remember your shopping bag between visits, to keep your chat conversation, and to hold the random identifier used for our own visit statistics. Our staff dashboard, which is not part of the public website, uses a session cookie strictly to keep staff signed in.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, our own statistics tool records nothing. The Google, Microsoft and TikTok tools may not respond to those signals, so use the choices listed under Advertising and analytics tools. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the identifiers stored on your device.

Keeping your information safe

We use reasonable measures to protect the information you give us. If a security breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you as Florida law (section 501.171, Florida Statutes) requires.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@yourmajestyspa.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we will honour those requests regardless of where you are.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the home page.
